Maverick director Ram Gopal Varma’s forthcoming film "Dongala Mutha" first copy has gone through the censor certification and the movie was awarded with U certificate from the Censor Board. This experimental film is all set to hit the screens on coming Friday, 18th of March. `Dongala Mutha’, or gang of thieves, is another typical thriller from Ram Gopal Varma.
RGV has been completed this movie shooting within 5 days and he managed to get actors and a technical crew to work for him for free of cost.
Ramgopal Varma’s `Dongala Mutha’ made with six lakh rupees will release this Friday and in all probability recover its cost in just a single show. The actors and technical crew will get paid only if the film makes money. The only expenditure was on hiring cameras and the film was shot entirely in natural light.
RGV says, "In any film production, script will be ready, actors are ready and they know their dialogues. The time-consuming factor is changing lighting in between shots. We have used cameras which are so small in size that they can be carried easily anywhere.’’
The movie has stars like Ravi Teja, Charmy, Lakshmi Prassanna, Prakash Raj, Brahmanandam . Other cast includes Ajay, Subba Raju, Supreeth and Brahmaji.
RGV’s recent released films are gone dud at box office; but we have to wait for the fate of this film till Friday.
