Actress Trsisha has been roped for the female lead role opposite to Venkatesh in the remake of Malyalam hit film "Body Guard" in Telugu. Earlier we heard the Anushka or Ileana might be a part of the film, but now Trisha has been confirmed.
This is the third film for Venkatesh and Trisha combination. Earlier they worked for Selvaraghavan’s Adavari Matalaku Ardhalu Veru and Srinu Vaitla’s Namo Venkatesa films. We also heard that Trisha would be the female lead role in Venky’s new film titled "Savitri" under Teja direction it seems.
The original version of Bodyguard was first made in Malayalam, which was a super hit film, directed by Siddique. Dileep and Nayanthara played the lead roles in Malayalam version "Body Guard". Later, the film was remade in Tamil as Kaavalan with Vijay and Asin in lead roles. Now the film is also being remade in Hindi with Salman Khan and Kareena Kapoor as lead roles.
Gopichand Malineni, who directed Don Seenu movie with Raviteja is directing this Body Guard remake film in Telugu. It will be produced by Bellamkonda Suresh and the movie will hit the floors in April. More details of this project , cast and crew will be out soon.
