1983 WORLD CUP Final Date & Complete Scorecard

Kapil Dev-led team India had scripted history on 25 June 1983 after lifting theCricket World Cup trophy at Lord’s.

In the third edition of Cricket World Cup aka Prudential Cup, India thrashed two times World Champion West Indies by 43 runs. 

David Gower had scored most runs while (384) India’s Roger Binny was leading wickettaker in the tournament (18). 

After 28 years, Dhoni-led Team India  will play Sri Lanka in the Cricket World Cup final at Wankhede. Will they repeat the 1983 miracle?
