Andala Khazana Ileana, who is highest paid actress in south Indian film industry, is going to act with south super star Rajinikanth in his forthcoming film Rana. In this high budget movie Rajini kanth is playing the triple roles.
Bollywood actress Deepika Padukone has been confirmed for one of the female lead role opposite to Rajini. Earlier the movie makers approached Bollywood actresses Rekha and Vidya Balan for other two female lead roles. But Rekha was demanded 4 Crores as remuneration for this film, so the producers are looking for the other actress. The buzz is that Rekha replaced with Hema Malini it seems. Another actress Vidya Balan has not yet confirmed for this project and the reports say that she almost walked out of this project. Now the Producers approached to Ileana to play the role vacated by Vidya Balan.
The latest news is that Ileana is not yet confirmed so far, once remuneration and adjustment of dates are fixed then she might sign to act in this film opposite to Rajinikanth. As per the sources Ileana is charging almost 2 crores for one film.
It will be directed by KS Ravi Kumar, who directed the hit films ‘Muthu’ and ‘Narasimha’ with Rajinikanth. It will be co-produced by Eros International and Ocher Studios, the production house run by Soundarya Rajinikanth (Daughter of Rajikanth). The film will feature cinematography by R. Rathnavelu and music will score by A. R. Rahman.
This film will be released in Tamil, Telugu and Hindi languages. The movie will hit the floors in August it seems.
