Shakti Trailer Background Music Copied or Purchased ?
The Latest buzz is that Manisharma copied the background music of the trailer from an English Album by name X-Ray Dog - Dog Eat Dog - Volume 1 - 01 - Reign Of Hell. Make your own judgement after hearing both of them.
About X-Ray Dog(wikipedia)
X-Ray Dog is an American musical study which is located in Burbank, California. They compose music for Hollywood movie trailers and soundtracks. X-Ray Dog composes and plays "bombastic, epic, orchestral music".
The group's music has been featured in trailers for a number of films, such as the Harry Potter series, the Pirates of the Caribbean series, the The Twilight Saga series, the Chronicles of Narnia series, 10,000 B.C., Alice in Wonderland, Iron Man, The Lord of the Rings: The Fellowship of the Ring, Transformers, The Imaginarium of Doctor Parnassus, Hellboy, Prince of Persia, X-Men: The Last Stand, Atonement, and Robin Hood.
In the past, Manisharma claimed other's music as his own multiple times: Noppi Noppi in Pokiri from Ricky Martin's Jaleo, Hare Rama in Okkadu from 2001 album Dance of Shakti, Lokam in Bobby from Jennifer Lopez's Love Don't Cost a Thing and so on. Looks like he did it again for Shakti trailer. Let us hope he gives credit at least this time around.
So the point being, Did Manisharma or makers of shakti purchase the background music or did they just copy it from X-Ray Dog - Dog Eat Dog - Volume 1 - 01 - Reign Of Hell?
