Prince Mahesh Babu has grabbed big offer from India’s proudest director Mani Rathnam. Mahesh has confirmed this news on twitter. Mahesh is going to act in a historical film to be directed by Mani Ratnam which will make in Tamil and Telugu languages.
The film is based on Tamil novel Ponniyin Selvan that deals with the life and times of Raja Raja Chola. As per the sources Tamil hero Vikram is also the part of this project. This project will be produced by Kalanidhi Maran of Sun Pictures and Music will be composed by Ilayaraja.
Mahesh Babu tweeted: "Now for some big news. Met Mani sir this morning, yes the legendary Mani Ratnam. My dream is coming true finally. I will be working in a Mani Ratnam film. One of the happiest days in my life."
This high budget film will hit the floors in October it seems.
