Earlier Bollywood beauty Deepika Padukone was roped as female lead in South Superstar Rajinikanth\’s new film "Rana". Now the latest buzz is that Asin has been approached by the Rana moviemakers for the second lead role, sources says that Asin is almost confirmed for the second lead in Rana.
Meanwhile, Rana is said to be a live action magnum opus with Rajinikanth playing a triple role. Now two of the heroines are confirmed, so there might be a chance for the third heroine also in this flick.
Rana is to be directed by K.S. Ravikumar under the banner of Eros International and Ocher Studios. The film will be made in Tamil, Hindi and Telugu languages. The film will go on floors in March and will hit screens in early 2012.
