Recently Sneha also took part in an event organized by Rotarians to eradicate polio in India. Sneha pledged her support for the cause and even donated generously for it. Now she has gone one step further by donating her eyes.
Rajan Eye Care Hospital , Chennai Vision Charitable Trust and HelpAge India have jointly organized a camp to stress on the importance of eye donation in Chennai on Tuesday (Feb 15).Actress Sneha was at this camp to spread the eye donation awareness message and to champion the cause she donated her eyes. The actress feels that donating her eyes would let more people follow her as an example. Sneha also presented citations to the families of several eye donors during this event.
Sneha also said that "by donating my eyes I have got the opportunity to live again". She has also urged her fans to donate their eyes for the visually challenged people.
